Collaborative Curriculum Resource Hub

your one-stop destination for enriching middle and high school classrooms.

Our Mission

Today’s cultural organizations are aware of the challenges middle and high school teachers face when trying to add outside resources to their curriculum, and particularly when attempting to go offsite. The Collaborative Curriculum Resource Hub is designed to assist teachers with this issue by providing content and connections with cultural organizations throughout Cumberland County. Online lessons shared on the site are interdisciplinary and can usually be tailored to the needs of a specific teacher. Sites are also frequently happy to work with teachers to develop programs, whether it be a classroom lesson or opportunities for students to do independent research. We hope this website will introduce you to the resources available in our area and open previously unexplored connections between cultural organizations and classrooms.

Collaborate With Us

The Collaborative Curriculum Resource Hub welcomes arts and cultural organizations from around Maine to take part in providing resources and contacts for educators. Even if you do not have developed curricula, sharing your willingness to work with schools, and the subjects your institutions specialize in, can be helpful to teachers as they look for local resources to add into their lesson plans. Interested in taking part? Please reach out to Staci Hanscom at collaborativecurriculummaine@gmail.com for details.
